It’s been a while
So you we have been MIA from our blog lately. We were struggling with it and didn’t know what to say or how our blog should be used. We did some research about blogging that really hit home...Blogging shouldn’t feel like a job and frankly it did. So we took a break to try to figure this thing out. While we don’t have it all figured out yet, we think we have a better sense of direction.
Our facebook page will be our main source of insight for our day-to-day lives. Our blog will be shared once or twice per week and contain more in-depth information and encouragement. We don’t know where this will take us but I feel confident it will make things much more cohesive and fun. We want this adoption journey to be fun. We know it may be long but I still think it can be fun.
Fun, that seems like a somewhat funny thing to say about an adoption journey. We can make it fun by the things that we do to grow even closer as a family. It can also be fun with the attitudes we choose to have during this journey. Another part of being fun is sharing our journey with others to encourage them in theirs, adoption or otherwise. We will have fun on this journey. We will be positive and grow but above all, we will trust God.
